After World War II, Italy faced severe economic hardship, prompting citizens to look for ways to earn a living. Pietro Gazzoni, seeing the abundance of war ruins throughout the country, took the opportunity to collect scrap metal to support his family.
This modest profession soon turned into an established business.
As the economic environment evolved and demand for new iron products increased to meet the ever-growing needs, Gazzoni specialized in the iron goods trade. Initially located on Pelacano Street in Forli, the company moved to the town’s current industrial area in 1974.
This move became necessary in the face of the ever-increasing size of the business and greater storage needs dictated by the market.
